About the Role

We need a Graphic Designer who gets it.

SmallAI is growing, and we need our visuals to catch up. We aren't looking for someone to just "make it pop." We need someone who can take a messy concept—like "an AI tool that argues with you"—and turn it into a visual that makes people stop scrolling.

You'll be the custodian of our brand. Sometimes that means creating a polished set of icons for a new app. Sometimes it means throwing together a meme for Twitter because the moment is right. We need range.

What You'll Do

• Define the look. We have over 100 tools. They need to feel like a family, but not like clones. You'll figure out that balance.
• Marketing that actually works. You'll design assets for social, email, and our blog. If it looks like a generic stock photo, we failed.
• Product polish. Our apps need icons, illustrations, and empty states. You'll make the "boring" screens look delightful.
• Move fast. We ship constantly. You need to be comfortable sharing work that is 80% done to get feedback, rather than hiding in a cave for a week.

The Requirements

• A portfolio with personality. Show us work that has a voice. We don't care about your credentials; we care about your eye.
• Tool agnosticism. Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma—use whatever gets the job done.
• Typography nerdery. You know why kerning matters and you have strong opinions on sans-serif fonts.
• Context switching. One hour you're designing a clean logo, the next you're making a chaotic collage for social media. You enjoy the variety.
