Chat Clarity Decision

Reality Checker

A tool to help you separate actual facts from your own interpretations so you can figure out the smallest honest step forward.

About This Tool

We built this because when we're stressed, our brains are great at building 'stories' that aren't necessarily true. This is a cognitive-clarity tool. It acts like a neutral mirror, helping you map out what is actually known (the Facts) versus what you are currently assuming (the Story).

It isn't a debater or a prosecutor. It's just a tool for your own logical deconstruction of a messy situation.

The Problem It Solves

When we're anxious, we tend to 'catastrophize' or 'mind-read'—assuming we know exactly what other people are thinking. These distortions usually lead to paralysis. This app removes that 'interpretative friction' by stripping a situation down to the verifiable parts. It makes it easier to see the truth so you can actually move forward.

When to Use This

  • You're spiraling over a situation with a friend or colleague (e.g., 'I know they're mad at me').
  • You're procrastinating on a project because you've convinced yourself it's 'impossible.'
  • You want to practice 'clear thinking' before you make a big commitment or choice.

How It Works

The app uses an LLM trained on the principles of Stoicism and CBT. It specifically hunts for 'distorted thinking' patterns like black-and-white logic. It stays calm and avoids 'moralizing,' using plain language to help you reach your own conclusion about what's real and what's just a projection.
